Huge Congratulations to Coral Pethers and her German Shepherd "Grande" who not only gained their Freestyle Novice Title and their Heelwork to Music Title – but also the trifecta of their UDX Title the day before !
More congratulations to Leonie Lock and her Border Collie "Rave" who gained their Freestyle Starters Title – and also Pamela Kettle and her Golden Retriever "Ingot" who gained their Freestyle Novice Title.
Special mention too of Sharon Clark and "Casey" her Border Collie who came 1st in Freestyle Advanced with a score of 176.5 – the highest score yet in Queensland.
Lovely to see two new handlers out for the first time – 1st place in Heelwork to Music Starters went to Vyvyan Mannion and her Golden Retriever "Jaffa" and 2nd place went to Teresa Murchison and her teeny-weeny Yorkshire Terrier "Lucy" – believed to be the only Yorkie with a CDX and now in DWD.
(I was particularly delighted with the two Golden Retrievers above as I bred both of them !)
Thanks to Maree and her band of helpers for setting up the VIP grounds – also to both Sponsors VIP Petfoods for the dog food prizes –and Annswitch Canines.
The Rain Gods once again smiled on us with grey clouds all around, but no rain………
